Frequently asked questions answered simply.

I feel ready to reach out. How do I begin?

Simply send a message via email, phone, WhatsApp or the form to get started, and I will be in touch within 24 hours. We can then arrange a free 15-minute chat to discuss what is on your mind and answer your questions. This is a calm space for you to see how you feel, with no pressure to commit unless you are ready.

How do we book a session?

If you decide after our first chat that you would like us to work together, I will send you a welcome pack. This document gently explains our agreement and what you can expect from our time together. Once you have had a chance to look through it and you feel happy to proceed, we will find a regular day and time that fits comfortably into your week for your first full therapeutic session.

Is our work together kept private?

Your privacy is very important to me. Our sessions are a confidential space where you can speak openly, knowing your story is held with deep care and respect. In line with professional ethical standards, there are very specific limits to confidentiality which I will explain clearly in your welcome pack. If you feel at all anxious about this, we can talk it through during our first meeting to ensure you feel safe.

What if my plans have to change?

I understand that life can be unpredictable and things happen. If you need to move or cancel our appointment, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice. This allows us to manage our time reasonably and ensures you won't be charged a cancellation fee. You can find more details regarding this in the welcome information I provide.

How do online sessions work?

For our virtual meetings, we use a secure and private video platform to ensure your safety and anonymity. I will email you a personal link before each session. To get the most from our time, you just need a reliable internet connection and a quiet, comfortable space where you feel safe and will not be disturbed. Further technical details are included in your welcome pack.
